Thursday Grading Awards Ceremony July 2009.....

The Thursday Deeping Dragons, well done, everyone.

Scott Receiving his Shodan Grade (Black Belt), congratulations Scott, we all hope the injury heals quickly and you can come back and train with us in the very near future.

Two very proud Black Belts, congratulations to both Scott and Andy

The tale of the missing Black Belt, well against all the odds the belt was reunited with its owner Andy Clarke after being missing for nearly a year.

Last year Andy got changed after training and had accidently left his belt behind, he immediately contacted the centre but there was no sign of the belt, nearly a year later Sensei Gadd bumped into the school PE teacher during the grading and spotted a belt in the office, it turned out to be a brown belt but the PE teacher said he had another one and returned holding Andy's missing belt that had been handed in the previous year.

The club is very pleased that the story of the missing belt has a 'Happy Ending'

Congratulations to everyone who graded, the standard was extreamly high, all the instructors were very pleased with the effort and the spirit that you all showed, well done.
