The club was very fortunate to have Rakesh Patel (5th Dan) visit us again and take both Junior and senior lessons.
He took us through basic punching and kicking routines and then crafted them into a drill that demonstrated certain Bunkai applications to Kata
Thank you very much for taking the time to come and teach us and we all look forward to your next visit.

Thank you to everyone who braved the aweful weather on Thursday to come and train with Sensei Kesh

Belt training with the Deeping Juniors, it just goes to show that with a bit of imagination you can train with anything you have to hand and also that your obi can be used for more than keeping your gi on.
We would like to thank Kesh for taking the time to come and train with us and we are extremely pleased to accept you amongst our ranks as an honourary member of the Deeping Shotokan Karate Club.

We were very fortunate to have two guest instructors visit the club on Thursday. Chas and Paul from the Bourne Judo Club were invited to help us with our ground work and give us an insight into another Martial Art.

As you can see from the photos and the video everybody relished this opportunity to learn a new skill and apply new techniques to our training.

And now for some Video...............................
